GE refrigerator French doors with freezer on the b

When I went looking for a new refrigerator I wasn't sure what I wanted. I read reviews on GE appliances and saw that they were critical of the humming. I have not noticed this at all. I realize my refrigerator was just installed but the look of it is so nice and the interior is far better than any other brands I looked at. Another reason I bought the GE is because we have a side by side back up which is over 20 yrs old and was a savior when our main one went out. The guys who installed my refrigerator were fantastic and very helpful in showing the features of the refrigerator and what to expect in the cooling process and how to make the cooling more efficient. so far I am very happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very roomy and easy to organize! The only thing I don’t like is the plastic bins in the freezer. I have always preferred wire baskets.

Not happy with water dispenser

Have had the fridge for a couple of weeks now and the water that comes out of the dispenser is not cold. This is probably the feature that was most important when purchasing.
The refrigerator I replaced dispensed freezing cold water. Wish I had known this prior to purchasing.

Hi, Thanks for choosing GE Appliances for your home! If the water is not chilled coming from the dispenser, we suggest you adjust the temperature control on the refrigerator to make the fresh-food section colder which will help chill the water that comes from the dispenser. Also, the first few ounces of dispensed water will be warm. This is the water in the tubing between the chilled tank and the dispenser. We hope this helps! - Sharon@GEA

Great Refrigerator!

We're so happy with this refrigerator! Love the layout inside. The twin cooling system is genius - fridge & freezer are completely separate - the ice doesn't taste like provolone cheese. Love the water dispenser inside, as opposed to on the door. Not sure why some reviewers say it's loud. We find it to be very quiet! Wish the veggie & fruit bins were a little larger, but overall, this refrigerator is perfect!
