Exactly what we needed!

We needed a new, reliable fridge asap and this had everything that we needed. There is lots of room and specific areas for different kinds of foods; fruit, vegetables, deli etc. We like that so many shelves are adjustable for the different sizes of containers!

Nice new features

I bought this refrigerator to replace an older GE french door fridge I liked, but this one is even better. It's well designed and makes excellent use of storage space, with many thoughtful features. I like the slate color and LED lighting, and the water filter system is greatly improved. Very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compressor, Evaporator, Condensor have all failed within 4 months. Doors misaligned but was able to fix myself. Came with incorrect manual. Still doesn’t work. Logo is still working, so it looks nice in kitchen and coordinates nicely with my other GE appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great all around

Maintains good temperatures, shelves and drawers are well made, LED lights are great, very quiet motor and fan, plenty of room and great organizing features in both refrigerator and freezer. Slate finish looks great in my kitchen. Very classy.

GE refrigerator seal standout

I have only had this refrigerator installed a week, so too new to discuss in depth. Love the look and the French doors. The water dispenser is mounted on the inside, which I prefer. It dispenses water a little than my older outside mounted water. Not a huge deal for me as I do not prefer cold water, usually.
Bigger issue for me is the seal around the door. Depending on how the refrigerator is located in ones kitchen, a fine white line may be noted as passing by. See photo. Upon calling service department, I was informed this is how GE manufactures the door and there's no guarantee a new door will not show white! Location is everything here. As we come around the kitchen corner, this side of the refrigerator is exposed. So I see it every time! A white refrigerator would not show, but as appliance coloring goes darker, I would think GE would take notice!
I overall am satisfied with the product and would recommend it. Hopefully, will come back to re-evaluate review in the near future.

Better Than Expected

I wanted to create an open, sleek design when we remodeled our kitchen and selected a counter depth refrigerator. I discovered having a little less depth in the interior has made it so much easier to see and locate items.
