Great Lighting, good space

The first one we had lasted all of 3 months. We had 3 service calls on it and finally with the 4th they gave us a new one. GE was a good company to deal with in getting the problem resolved, but I hold judgement on whether the new one will have the same problems as the first.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not happy about the food on top shelve freezing

Fridge is set on 37 F and the food is freezing inside the fridge. Not good.

This slate fridge looks great in our kitchen. It is a nice change from normal stainless steel because it does not show fingerprints. The side by side doors allow for easy access to all things inside the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as deep as my old refrigerator, but layout offer more storage, especially like the storage capacity inside the doors.

Just received but so far love the slate color and how it fits into our kitchen. both freezer and refrigerator were at 0 & 37 the next morning and working great.

Noisy humming

Do not buy this refrigerator if it is going into a kitchen near an area where you spend time reading or eating. It makes a loud humming when it the fan is on which is much too loud for normal conditions. It would be great for a separate pantry but that's about it.
