Saving My Neck

I love the French Door style because it's easy to get things in and out of it, it's easier on a bad neck. I like all the different compartments and big, adjustable door shelves. I like the appearance of it as well. The bottom freezer holds an amazing amount of food.

Love This Refrigerator!

I did a lot of research and still I was somewhat skeptical about a French door, bottom freezer model, but I found this design is perfect for us! The freezer is big enough, is well lit, and has a small front bin and a top drawer... All helping to keep things organized. The refrigerator section is huge with plenty of deep door bins to hold all kinds of foods. I added my own spinners and bought some clear plastic bins and there is room for everything and lots more! It is beautifully lit as well. The exterior surface is really fingerprint resistant and cleans off nicely with a wet microfiber cloth. The only drawback might be the interior water dispenser. Though we wanted it positioned inside, it is not the easiest to use. We have a reverse osmosis faucet at our sink that we would rather use, so this is not a problem for us. We do love the ice bin inside the freezer though! We just bought a great plastic scoop for it. And we don't feel like we sacrificed space by purchasing a counter depth model. We have plenty of room and it looks great with our cabinetry. I am so glad we chose this model to replace our old GE Profile refrigerator which was still running after 18 years!

The ice maker will freeze at the back and the clump will be hard to remove.

Sleek and the right size.

The counter depth is so workable and even though you loose some storage having the water spigot inside you free the entire inside door for storage.

Exterior Issues

I wanted a regular bottom freezer, but it was not offered in black slate. I had to purchase this French door and increase the size to 36" to exclude the door dispenser that would have limited the interior storage. The freezer exterior door has been replaced five times, and door #6 was just delivered. Every replacement has dents, markings, or metal sticking out. The refrigerator storage is good for counter depth. As others have mentioned, the water dispenser is difficult to dispense. The freezer is poorly designed for storage, and the entire refrigerator pulls out when opening the freezer. For the money, not the greatest.

We had an older Profile side by side. Really loving the bottom freezer less the door dispenser. All is great, filter alert works great, 6 month alert just went on.
