The fridge has trouble maintaining constant temperature in both fridge and freezer.

I really love this fridge. It is a beautiful design and so spacious. Has terrific features. Love the fact that it has a water filter and the inside water dispenser works perfectly. So many shelves with different configurations, I can fit in everything with lots of room to spare.

Noisy and runs constantly

Do not purchase if you have open floor plan home. We have to turn the TV volume up in the adjacent family room when the unit is running even after a supposed "fix" that included the installation of a new compressor fan.

I am so pleased to not have items "lost" in the back shelves of the refrigerator - with the counter depth model everything is very accessible, good lighting

Great Features, Poor Execution

We bought this refrigerator 16 months ago. The interior has lots of space, adjustable shelves, and an interior water dispenser. Unfortunately, the fan motor gave out and we lost all the food in the upper compartment. Sixteen months seems like a pretty short life for a major appliance.

Beautiful refrigerator

I was a little hesitant about this refrigerator because of some of the negative reviews but they all had something that people didn't like. I chose this one because I didn't want water in the door. The ice is easy to get to. I bought a small scoop it is easy to use. Even though it is counter depth it seems to have more useable space than my previous fridge. I like that that doors have larger shelves than the other ones have. It looks very sleek.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Lighting, good space

The first one we had lasted all of 3 months. We had 3 service calls on it and finally with the 4th they gave us a new one. GE was a good company to deal with in getting the problem resolved, but I hold judgement on whether the new one will have the same problems as the first.
