No peace of mind

After many hours of research, my husband and I selected this refrigerator based on research and internet reviews. It is a beautiful refrigerator, however, we have had a series of issues with it since it was installed in early November 2014. Within three months of service, the fridge was not maintaining temperature. The refrigerator was 67 degrees while the freezer was reading negative 27. Additionally, the "climate zone and temp select zones" were allowing the food to freeze. The repair man determined that a new fan was needed, and was installed a week later. A month after that, the fridge stopped cooling again and the freezer was reporting negative numbers. This time, the repair man determined that a new mother board and two different fans needed to be replaced. By the middle of May, the fridge had stopped cooling yet again. This time, power was cut from the fridge and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. When the power was turned back on, the fridge began cooling again. Since that time, the fan motor is noticeably loud and runs quite often. We are on high alert, constantly, that the fridge will stop cooling causing stress over the reliability for this piece of equipment.

I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago and I have had to have someone come look at it three different times! It is still not working properly! I truly need a new one because there is no reason I should be dealing with something messing up that is brand new. My old refrigerator was from the 80's and never had a thing wrong with it. I just updated my kitchen! I bought all GE profile appliances and the fridge is the only problem now.

Failed in less than 6 Months

I purchased this refrigerator less than 6 months ago. Last week the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. Compressor is loud.

Nice refrigerator, but service calls already

The refrigerator has nice features and operates quietly when it's operating properly. We have had two service calls on it in less than five months of owning it. The first for a wiring harness that came lose and was sitting on the compressor. The second for a fan going out.

Don't BUY this!!

This side by side refrigerator looks pretty to the eye, but it is a "lemon" of a refrigerator. We have had it repaired 4 times in the 6 months that we have owned it!!

Good Unit But

Handles are fingerprint magnetic, internal water dispenser has no catch basin so you get drips in side when using the water dispenser. Counter depth gives good appearance in the kitchen but to some degree you lose the advantage of the french doors allowing large platters in without the depth to accommodate the platters.

Prblems already...

Unfortunately, we have had a couple o issues with this product already. The freezer has gotten stuck a number of times (unable to open) and we also seem to have a higher than normal amount of condensation in the refrigerator at times (comes and goes). Additionally, the part of the door that is supposed to swing shut to create he seal between the doors doesn't swing and we have to pull it up from the bottom. It's like it shifts down and that shift makes it so it doesn't swing when the left door is closed.
