Great fridge, minor complaints

This is really an outstanding fridge. If you need counter depth and want to maximize your storage this is the perfect choice. We upgraded from a side by side profile that technically had more cubic feet and this model keeps the fridge looking neater, more organized, and I can see everything so much better! It feels like I’m fitting more in it because it’s so open. Here are my gripes: the water dispenser button is the worst designed thing. It’s awkward and hard to push and when you’re filling large bottles it’s terribly inconvenient. Yes, it’s a loud fridge but I can overlook that. And lastly, our freezer door handle was a little wonky and we had to have them send new screws. Overall I’m still thrilled with it the pros outweigh the cons!!

Very pretty refrigerator.

Just received delivery 10/31 so I can’t speak to reliability at this time. However GE Profile French doors in black slate looks perfect in our vacation home in Maine. The black slate has a natural look to it. The interior lighting is bright and discreet at the same time.
I am concerned about keeping the exterior clean. Paper towels are not recommended to wipe the doors so I have put a sign up with microfiber cloths to remind our frequent helpful guests. So far so good. Love it.

Deep door shelves

Well organized interior. Having the adjustable meat and cheese area is great. Deep door shelves allow more space for larger items on the main shelves. We had a larger capacity refrigerator before and this takes some getting used to. We are purchasing food differently, especially for the smaller freezer capacity, so still adjusting, but overall we like it very much.

Sleek look and roomy inside

This GE Profile refrigerator is counter depth and has a sleek look. The black slate is a great contrast with my creamy colored cabinets. Being counter depth, I was afraid it wouldn't have much storage space, but it does. There is lots of storage in the doors and I have been able to store everything quite easily. I appreciate the little jingle it plays if a door is left open too long.

Great refrigerator

We love our new refrigerator. We had one that had the freezer on the top and we had to bend to reach items in the back. No more! The two doors don't swing out as much as a single door, so less room is taken up. It is very roomy. The bottom freezer is very large and items are easily accessible.

Nice modern look

It’s a nice looking appliance, but I’d prefer the ice and water access to be on the outside or more accessible inside. It’s an awkward body twist to get water and freezer door is extremely difficult to open and requires counter pressure to keep the entire fridge from moving forward. I would not recommend this fridge. It was part of our home purchase so we are learning how to work around the inflexible features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
