great lighting, great space, and it's counter depth, when delivered I'm guessing a water line was spliced, took 2 weeks to get the right water line, just to avoid voiding my warranty, since we had just got the fridge. so 2 weeks finally and it took me 5 min. to install . called GE service 4 times to get this solved, the last time the lady was very helpful. guess it just depends on who you get.

I love this refrigerator. Plenty of storage. Plastic seems to wipe clean easier than previous refrigerator. I love the bottom freezer except I think the ice bin could have been a little smaller; I have taken mine out and store a supply of ice in zip-lock bags so I can have more storage space. Easy to organize both the refrigerator and freezer. I don't bang my head on the freezer door every time I take something out like I did on my old top freezer model and because I have limited kitchen space the counter depth surprisingly feels like I have much more room.

Ideal counter depth refrigerator

I wanted the ice and water dispenser inside the refrigerator, which this model has. Fingerprints on the surfaces is a non-issue. It has great capacity for a counter depth refrigerator.

Meets Expectations

We bought this refrigerator to replace our old Electrolux model which was continually failing. Although the GE model does not have all the features our old frig did ( the shelves, for example, do not slide as smoothly given their construction), we believed it would be the Best Buy given what is available on the market today and the relatively small space we have for our unit. We also bought the refrigerator despite various reviews that said it was noisier than usual - a fact which has not proven to be the case with our appliance. Indeed, it is quieter than our old unit. It also keeps an even temperature and otherwise works as expected.

Overall, not impressed. The freezer door did not have a good seal and therefore moisture accumulated at the top causing it to freeze. The store that it was purchased from is going to replace the door but because it is a special item it has not come in yet so have had this issue almost since day one, which was sometime in late August.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good looking! Bought while renovating our kitchen with all matching appliances. Two things wrong: 1) quality control is bad. There was a lot of excess foam on the doors. We tried replacing the doors 4 times before we had to get a totally new refrigerator. 2) It is very loud and makes strange noise - told this is normal.
Except for those two things, it seems to be a good refrigerator.

solid, excellent design. VERY quiet compressor, and energy efficient. Nice features like interior temp displays on edge of fridge door, and alarms the ring if you leave the door open too long!
