Nice Looking Refrigerator

The fridge looks nice, but I have one big complaint. Any time I open the freezer door, and then close I, I need to wait a couple of minutes before I can open it again. It appears that the door gets frozen to the frame

This refer was purchased as part of a complete kitchen remodel so like everything else we did our homework before deciding which one to buy. Due to our history with GE products we knew we wanted GE again - that was easy, but we still had to pick which one. Counter depth was necessary because of the size of our kitchen. We didn't want all the bells and whistles so we got the clean lines on the outside, but with an icemaker and filtered water on the inside. It's quiet and the controls are on the door so it's easy to adjust settings. We are so pleased with this product that we would highly recommend it to family and friends alike. Also, we couldn't totally part with our old GE refer so it now resides in the garage and is still purring like a kitten after all these years.

Love Counter Depth, Hate Humming Noise!

This is the 2nd GE I have owned. I like design. Have had it since Christmas 2018 and already had major ice make issue which water flooded freezer compartment and froze solid, then ran out onto my new hardwoods. Replaced that. Now it makes this awful loud humming noise all the time! Does this mean something else will break? Compressor?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1st Refrigerator Received DEFECTIVE

Purchased brand new from local appliance retailer. Delivered and would not cool down. Appliance repair shop was contacted by retailer and upon inspection, no coolant was in the sealed system - new unit needed major repairs, evaporators must be replaced.
Retailer ended up replacing the unit. I lost all food in my refrigerator and freezer.
So far, replacement is working as it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer stays stuck too long after opening

Not as impressed as I thought I would be. When delivered one letter of Profile was missing on front of refrigerator. Freezer drawer stays closed for a few minutes after each opening.

This refrigerator is so much more efficient than any we have ever had. The temperatures are spot on and we're not throwing away spoiled food any more. We highly recommend this refrigerator!

We love the look and design of our GE Profile refrigerator. Both the interior of the refrigerator and the freezer suits our family well and have plenty of room for easy access of all items within. We did not want water and ice access on the exterior of the refrigerator, so the fact this refrigerator does dispense water on the interior of the fridge and has ice / ice maker in the freezer is a nice feature and works well for us.
The one downfall of the refrigerator is the noise it makes when it is running / cooling. We certainly wish it was quieter!

The space is fabulous and the lighting is excellent. I can actually see everything in the freezer and the refrigerator at a glance. The new color, black slate is gorgeous and very easy to clean.
