Love the french door style

Love the lighting and counter depth storage

We looked at many refrigerators and. found GE to be the best with a wonderful 5 year warranty. JUST WISH THE BLACK SIDE WAS ALSO STAINLESS STEAL

Ice Maker Doesn’t Work

On installation I was pleased with appearance and space. It didn’t produce ice though. After reading manual it said give it 24 hrs. Still no ice. Had the service man to check it out. ( a part is defective) currently
waiting on a replacement. So. Brand new refrigerator, No Ice. I’m refraining a recommendation to see what happens .......

Great History and Great Reputation

I had my previous GE Profile Side by Side for 27 years. In all that time it needed only one minor repair. Because of that reason alone I'm sticking with GE. There are many models and manufacturers in the game now and competition is stiff. But for the few dollars more I've spent it's worth the peace of mind.
This new French Style unit appears as tuff as my last one. However, I had to check it several times as it's almost silent when operating. It cooled faster, has all the latest digital read outs, which I like, and the 'fit and finish' is what I'd expect from a GE product, Top Notch!

We just purchased this refrigerator because our previous one (made by a major TV manufacturer) quit working after only 2 years and they are being quite difficult working through the warranty process. I highly recommend sticking with a company that focuses their efforts on major appliances and not cell phones. So far we are very pleased with this purchase; fit and finish is very nice. I would like the exterior to be a little more smudge resistant.

Better than expected

I bought this fridge because it was the only one that was counter depth without in the door ice and water and matched the GE range I wanted. I wasn't sure I would like it. It looked smaller inside than my old one, but there is so much storage in the doors and it is really easy to fit and organize and get to everything and plenty of space! Also lots of little LED lights all over, so it is really bright and you can see everything.
I also love the slate finish. No fingerprints or smudges. I HATED the stainless steel I had before. This is so much better. Looks good all the time!
Only negative is the filtered water that comes out of the dispenser inside the fridge is not very cold. My old Maytag fridge had the same type of dispenser inside, but it had a reservoir inside behind the crisper drawers that held water and kept it cold so it was nice and cold right out of the dispenser. So far that is my only complaint.
