Such an improvement from our old klunker

The best thing to me is seeing the actual temperature readout every time I open the door, and it's always the same optimal 37 degrees, and the freezer at zero. Our old refrigerator was always different, and never seemed to be what I wanted, especially not both the freezer and the refrigerator. I also like that it's easy to clean, the trays are easily removable, and the icemaker tray was also easy to remove and use the space for storage, since we don't us a lot of ice. A big winner with my wife, which is the most important.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, so good

Only had this refrigerator for about 2 months, so it's a bit premature to comment on it other than it worked when it was plugged in. Noted a gap at the bottom of the left door where the foam insulation pushed through, and the freezer slider is rough. Have to be very careful to ensure it rolls back correctly and seals. Unit is much quieter than the 25 yo Whirlpool it replaced. More usable refrigerator space but less convenient freezer. Wish a boxed pizza could be stored upright. Door drawers are roomy and very secure. Interior water dispenser cannot be used by kids. A lever instead of a button would be much better.

we love our new french door style refrigerator! has tons of space and can adjust to different foods stored. the downside is the deli drawer needs to different openings. we have to open both doors to open the deli drawer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our old refrigerator died- bottom door freezer. We are very pleased with this new GE fridge.You wouldn't think lighting inside an appliance would make such a difference. The glass shelves are easy to wipe clean, various drawers where temps can be controlled separately- with clear design, allows you to see everything, All my food looks so good & fresh! Lettuce and celery- things that had previously gone bad fast- are lasting a much more reasonable time.

Initially works well but is rather flimsy

Only have had the refrigerator for a few days. Initial operation is good and given its external dimensions it has a lot of interior space.
However, I am not impressed with it's sturdiness. The freezer is quite flimsy, it easily binds when you try and close it from anywhere but the exact center of the handle. I am concerned that over time it will become worse and be a long term serious problem. Given its price, I would expect a more solid construction.
