I've had this refrigerator since Thanksgiving - I love having the double doors and wider shelves! The filtered water inside is really handy and keeps space available in door. The crisper drawers separate food products and for organization needs they are exceptionally wonderful
It's also magnetic so you can still have photos on the door.

Super glad that we chose with one without the ice dispenser in the door as it will go well with our contemporary kitchen after it is remodeled. Also really like the interior lighting!

This replaced a 19 year old side by side that still works great and is now in
our garage for overflow. We researched long and hard and finally landed on this model. We really like the clean look of this counter depth model without the water/ice and controls on the front. We had hoped the handles were going to be more fingerprint resistent. It's a daily wipe-down if you don't like the smudged look.The lighting is very nice as is the added drawer that has a few different temp adjustments. We like the spill-proof shelves. And we find the unit over all to be quiet. After reading so many poor reviews on "in the door" ice makers we decided we wanted the ice maker in the freezer. It makes plenty of ice for our household of two. The clear plastic drawers and door bins can easily scratch and the rubber gasket around the doors is not finished off nicely in places. So far the temp control is great - we like the dual cooling systems. Make sure to adjust the freezer door so you get the best seal. We like that the freezer bins are solid drawers rather than baskets for less chance of 'stuff" falling thru to the bottom. Overall we are content but based on our research on all brands we did chose the extended warranty (We never buy extended warranties!). It does not seem like these appliances are made to last 10+ years anymore. Hope this unit proves us wrong.

Better than average but still lacking.

It's okay, I bought this one because I have had numerous problems with ice makers in the door. It does have chilled water inside the fridge which is what I like most. I have a counter depth so it's not as deep as I would like but not a GE issue. Also, this is first time I've had a freezer below instead of side by side or a freezer door up top. Harder to find things or even know what's in there. The only issue we have had so far was the water dispenser froze up but after a couple days was okay and not sure why. Oveall, not bad for the buck.

When I received my refrigerator there were dents in the door and the handles. It works. I do not care for the lighting in it and there is a light missing on the bottom of the right door for the freezer! There isn't even electrical for a light there!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
