AWESOME PRINTER FOR THE PRICE!

for the the price you can not beat this printer ! full auto duplex printing! it is super fast at color printing. this thing has the same features of my large and very expensive office copier/fax machine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

IPad connection

I was unable to print from my Ipad. Upon sending a request to Brother, I was told that there is no step-by-step reference (printed or online) to lead me through this. I need to call tech support to have some hand-holding.
This is the main reason I purchased this printer. I was quite happy with the one it replaced (another Brother).

Good value

I bought the machine and am basically techno ignorant. I installed it and then needed to contact Brother to help with some of the installation steps. The service they provided was very good although it took a while to get through to them.
I find the machine does what it is supposed to and works well, though the "pick-up" of items sent to print is slower than I was used to with my old HP all in one.
The copies are fine and I would recommend this item to a friend, as i believe it is a great value.

Not the best for printing pictures

I bought this printer with the idea that it would print out gallery quality pictures, but it does not. When I print out pictures there is smear line that goes through the middle of the paper, probably from rollers on the inside. I still have to go to Walmart (which is 75 miles away from my rural town) to print off pictures for photo contests and to hang in a local gallery. Other than that, I'm mostly happy with my printer, however, it does seem to go through the ink rather quickly. And if you run out of one color, it won't print anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Machine

This is a well thought out machine. While I like all of its capabilities, the wireless function is the best. I like the location of the ink for replacement. Resolution is not really photo quality, but is great for office work. Prints very quickly. Had to look a long time before I found the USB connection for setup, but setup was flawless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let me start by saying customer service is everything. I purchased a MFC, and i couldn't get it to print black ink, so i called customer service and within five min or less I had a new MFC on the way to my home, and the rep even apologized for any inconvenience on my part. He was so nice, professional, and to the point, I actually checked my phone to see if i dialed the right number,I asked him if he was serious. I was expecting a difficult experience and got the best customer service experience in my life. I love my Brother MFC..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy when feeding paper

Printer J825DW was easy setup. Only using printer for printing word document, spread sheets, etc. Printer is very noisy when paper is feeded into printer. Sounds like its going to crash.
