Best Purchase Ever

I am not the least bit technical and this printer knows it somehow and gets it all right for me. It even makes booklets out of my sewing instructions for me. Love it!!!!!

HL-2040 WAS BEST FOR MY VOTE

THIS PRINTER REPLACED HL-2040. SUCH A MISTAKE FOR ME. CHOSE NEW PRINTER FOR FAX, SCAN FEATURES. NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE EITHER FEATURE.. THE PAPER HOPPER IS ALWAYS NEEDING ATTENTION. SEEMS TO ONLY HOLD MAYBE 10 SHEETS. AT TIMES FEEDS 3 SHEETS WHICH THEN NEEDS TO BE REFILLED & PRINTED AGAIN BECAUSE PRINT OVERLAPPED..

Great Printer -- Great Price -- Beats HP

I use to use a HP Printer but every time I needed ink, I would spend $75 to $100 for the XL Ink. I got tired of spending $$ on ink. So, this time; I wanted something that could fax, copy, do double sided, & print directly on the CD/DVD, instead of using labels & this printer does it all.
Paper & Photo Prints are great! XL Inks last a long time - is very reasonable priced & prints directly on the CD/DVDs! The print on CD/DVD's look like pros did it!

Very good all-in-one

Have been using for business and personal use for about a year. Works well in all aspects.
Ink cartage indicators says replace cartarage when ink at about 25% level. Must ignore the messages for about a week to get the most out of the cartarage.

good until cloud print stopped working

Was good until cloud printing stopped working with "Internal Error".
Lots of people having this issue but brother pointing finger at google.
Went thru this last year and brother eventually fixed it with a firmware upgrade. Now, they don't seem to do anything just point to google.

this printer after having it a couple of months has stop printing in black, so I have to change everything into blue in order for it to print.
