Easiest hookup ever, love it!

This is my first wireless hookup printer I'm using as a wireless. I love it. The hookup was the easiest ever ... the print quality is amazing. It seems to use a bit more ink than my others, but the wireless capability offsets the cost for me. I'd buy another one and I'll recommend Brother to others. Good product, Brother ... if you put out consistent products like this one, I'll be back for more!

I purchased this product 2 months ago and use it mostly for printing and faxing. One thing I really like about it is that the number keypad for dialing (faxing) is an actual keypad, unlike some of the other Multi Function Devices that have a digital keypad that appears on the screen. It's too easy to tap the wrong digit on those digital screens; not the case with this one.
I recently used the scan feature for the first time. It scans very quickly, however, the quality of the scanned image (a photograph) was very poor and there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the quality. The quality of scanned documents seems to be fine, though.
Other than that, it's a great product so far.

The Brother All-in-One J825DW has all the features anyone would want in an inkjet printer--including a cd/dvd drive and wifi. Its touchscreen is very easy to read and makes setup, as well as other functions, a breeze to perform. Bright, vivid colors characterize the color print quality. I have used it on plain printer paper and premium glossy photo paper without any problems. I especially like the self-diagnosis/cleaning process the printer performs ever so often. For the price, the Brother J825DW cannot be beat.

The printer itself works as it should and does a very good job. The main reason I purchased a new printer, and this one in particular is, (a) Features (b) price of printer and ink, and the main reason, (c) cloud print. I have no problems with features and pricing. My problem is with cloud print. First, Google Cloud Print doesn't recognize Brother as capable of Cloud Printing. You have to go through a convoluted process then you have to leave your computer and printer on. Very inconveniant if you're not home and trying to print from your smartphone or tablet. I was able to print photos using iPrint&Scan from text messages with my first smart phone, then I upgraded to HTC EVO 4G LTE. Now I get "internal error" message when I try to use Iprint. Get same error message using my Nexus 10 tablet. Also, printer goes into sleep mode and cloud print can't wake it. I've looked for an always awake setting, but can't find one. By the time I realized I had problems with cloud print, my 30 day return window had past, or I would have exchanged it for one recognized by Google.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
