When my "antique" printer bit the dust, I did some research to see how I could replace it. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Brother MFC-J825DW. For a very reasonable price, I now have duplex printing, scanning and if I so choose I could set up fax. The Brother support system for set up etc is excellent, and the Creative Center has allowed me to make calendars and cards--it is fun and easy. Quiet and fast. I love my new printer.

I am an occasional to moderate user which means I will get longer usage without any mechanical mishaps as would a more aggressive person would get. So far, it has performed magnificently. This will be my second printer and the first one only failed because I had abused it somewhat otherwise it may have lasted much longer. Because of this I will never know. Thanks BROTHER.....

Love this all-in-one printer. It works like a charm. Love the idea that it's wireless, so don't need to go to the printer when I need to print. Fax, scanning and copying work flawlessly. This is my third or fourth Brother all-in-one. I wouldn't consider any other printer after using Brother.
Value priced, and get value priced ink cartridges.

Wanted a multi-purpose printer that would also print CD labels, and this one fits the bill. Easy to set up and use, reliable print quality, and intuitive controls. Very happy!

GREAT little printer!

I wanted to replace my current printer with one that has all the bells and whistles, but I have a small space; it had to be less than 17" wide to fit, and this one does it all and more! It appears to use zero power when it sleeps but wakes right up to do the job when you send something to print etc. Auto feed, duplex printing, FAX, paper stacks store IN the unit (not hanging out), touch screen, WiFi (can print from my smartphone), scanner, copier, and even prints on (printable) CDs!

I have yet to print pictures but this does everything well. I have yet to figure out how to get the fax to work without directly pluging into my phone line. I'm sure it is easy. The fax does work fine though.
Overall I would say this machine met all my expectations.
