Smooth machine

I purchased this printer to replace an HP e310 that would not scan due to an HP software issue that they could not fix.
The J825DW has performed as advertized, it's quiet, fairly fast and efficient with ink. I use it both wired and wireless (with my laptop). I would highly reccomend it for someone with business needs like invoicing, printing checks etc.

This Was A Christmas Present, Best Ever.

Install & Net Set Up Was Flawless, 5 Win Boxes, & 4 Macs All Can Use This Printer On The Home Network. Easiest Printer Install I've Ever Done !!

Very good purchase but have issues with wireless

Overall, I like the product, but have had some issues with the wireless so I have switched over to an Ethernet cable hook up.

Not so hot

I only use this printer for copying and scanning. No faxing involved. This is my first Brother product. I can't tell you how dissapointed I am in the quality of the color prints. Even with the vivid setting, really good photo paper, etc., etc., the colors just don't print out bright and true. Wish I had paid attention to other reviews on the matter. Aside from this issue, it seems to be doing an adiquite job of printing documents (i.e. black/white)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have purchased 4 brothers ink jet printers. Three use LC 61/65 ink and this one uses LC 71/75. I have found all to be reliable printers and using the same ink has been very economical and good quality on regular paper. This last printer (J825DW) is wireless, this has allowed my wife who uses her laptop in the kitchen and family room to print from wherever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GOT MY "BROTHER" IN MY HOUSE

My MFC-J825DW All in One, is the best I've come to own. I've owned 4 LEXMARKS, and 1 HP and none have preformed, or has given me the quaility that this BROTHER has. The only problem I incurred was the Wireless set-up, and that was with my OUTDATED modem. Print, copying, and changing ink are as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Not so good

I really do not like. Every timeyou want to print pictures you have to get up and slide the picture tray forward, the other machine i had i did not have to do that. Then there is times the printer won`t print cause it shuts off automatically. There could be somethingwrong cause all you have to do is just touch the power button and it comes back on. It is not the best machine.
