Good purchase

I bought this printer to replace two printers from other manufacturers with similar features and specifications. On one the print labels directly to CD/DVC feature did not work correctly and on the other the duplexer quit working after less than a year. I had a Brother monochrome laser that had worked flawlessly for about five years, so I decided to try the Brother inkjet with all the same features. I have been very satisfied. Everything works as advertised - installation was easy and I was printing within a few minutes of taking it out of the box. The only possible negative is that it is slow to begin printing when using my laptops from elsewhere in the house. Very good printer.

Excellent purchase

Replaced the MFC290 with this mainly because of the LED screen and menu system. Fax transmission proved excellent. Print speed is good. Wish this unit could accomodate 11 x 14 paper and also wish ink was less expensive, but all inkjets use cartridges that are equally high priced.
Overall, very pleased with this unit.

This us better than what i had. Do wish it was easier to print from my phone. Currently have to have my laptop on to share path. Wish i could just print. If im not doing something right i wish someone would tell me.

This is far superior to previous scanner/printer I had. Performs every time without being stubborn or temperamental.
Love the screen! Practically runs all by itself.

I really like my printer. I have done regular printing, greeting cards, DVD case inserts and printable CD's and DVD's. I have scanned images and other documents with great results. I have not had any problems with my printer.

This unit replaced my last piece of HP products. I can only hope that if I need service/repair parts that I don't get the out of warranty hype right off the bat.
Thus far I am more than pleased with this printer. Granted I have only had it for 3 months but up to this point it does what it's suppose to. Print, Fax, Copy, Scan.

Everything prints so clear. Copies are clear. The ink location is easy to access. Love the idea of separate ink color cartridges. Glad we purchased this printer.
