Great price, easy setup,document print quality good but photo print grainy not good, guess I was spoiled by the HP Photosmart C7280 that it replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best replacement ever

I just want to say wow. I was hesitant about replacing my MFC 295CN because I really liked the model but there were some malfunction issues with the black ink and the model needed to be relplaced. I am so happy with my new model and all the wonderful features it has. Thank You Brother.

Great printer so far

Only had a small problem getting it to recognize the black cartridge initially but the printer is working great at this point. One nit, I can't use any driver that I can find to do a scan from a linux system which, fortunately, is not a deal breaker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This MFC-J825DW not a bad MACH. much easeyer to set up and use then my HP Office-Jet in my wifes office. I had this Mach. sinch april,2012 up till now it worked ok, printing became poor i changed all of the ink cartages they were low I replaced LC71s whit LC75s N/G called brothers and they recormed to bring to a local repair shop. It needed replacing a newone ( not a rebult ) All done lest then 7 days. the only CON the new MFC-J825DW came with LC71 INK not the LC75. Bummer.

Finally found a good printer that works great

I have looked at a lot of printers, but my Brother
MFC-J82t5DW is a really great printer. I have tried all aspects of the printer except the fax portion, I am sure it will be find also. i would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a good reliable printer.

They were not lying. It's efficient, doesn't waste paper or ink and does everything I need it to do and more. It has already been incredibly useful to have as I don't think age will stop this machine. So glad I did my research and purchased a Brother printer.

Poor Quality

I have had this product for more than 60 days now. What little assembly that was required I was afraid to do , even with my wife helping, as I was afraid that all plastic unit would break. Not near the quality of a Dell or Lexmark printer. Can not get the fax to work and can not get wireless feature to work from my wife's desktop in her office less than 25 ft. away. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Paper tray is way more difficult to load than it should be. I like the touch screen and 4 cartridges vs. 2.
