I like the size of this tablet, it is perfect if you want some light and small enough to handle on the job. Looking forward to getting ICS on it to improve battery and what this is capable of doing
Cons: will restart sometimes by itself, remote doesnt always work

Works quite well, very fast, surfing the net is easy, and quite a few good apps, nice appearance, and better than average cameras for the money, real value for the money.
I bought the WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus about six months ago. I love the size, which makes it a perfect ebook reader, and the features.
When I purchased the tablet, the latest Android OS update (Ice Cream Sandwich) was just being rolled out. I was assured that the tablet would be updated to ICS. Now another version of Android OS has been announced and I'm STILL waiting for ICS.
Over the past few months I've contacted Samsung Technical Support (both directly and through their Facebook page) and have been assured that the update would been coming "soon." It has been been made available to phone-based versions of the tablet but not the WiFi version. It would appear that Samsung either can't figure out how to push the update out to their wireless-only devices or that they have no intention of providing updates.
I am running into more and more apps that require ICS, including some security apps that are essential if I'm going to use the tablet for anything other than an eReader. If Samsung doesn't plan to update their WiFi-only tablet, they should clearly disclose this fact and/or stop selling it.
Because of this poor support record, I would not recommend purchasing this tablet, despite it's many desirable features.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, perffect size
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no os updates for wifi-only
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First of all I have to say that I am in general really satisfied with this product. Size and weight are perfect. The 1.2 Ghz dual core Exynos processor is great and in general the tab is fast. I just updated the OS and now I'm running into some problems, most of them are occasionally random reboots or random shut downs (Screen of death). I haven't manipulated the OS or installed problematic applications. I guess it is a software problem and I hope that Samsung is aware of it and will fix it soon. Also now that I'm running ICS the battery performance is a bit lacking thought it would improve.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's Okay, as long as you don't use Media Hub!

On its most recent update, Summer 2012, it deleted ALL of my Media Hub purshases, and Samsung account.
Very nice design. Easy to use and responsive. However, the battery life is much too short. It won't go more than 4 hours of active use, which is too short for a tablet.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: short battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 7.0 Plus WiFi has been enjoyable. So portable, yet powerful. Carry it in my purse everywhere I go. Yes I recommend the Galaxy Tab.
