Pretty good little tablet

As a network admin having to admin many tablet devices these days I've seen my fair share. This is the first Android tab that I thought was nice enough to purchase. To give you an idea of what it's up against I carry 2 iPhone 4s's (one is for work), an iPad2 64gb 3g-AT&T, and a Dell Precision Mobile Workstation M6600 with maxed out specs. I have now added the Galaxy Tab 7 Plus to my collection of gadgets. It's quick, responsive, perfectly sized for reading books and tech manuals. In all honesty I got it to root and fiddle with the OS as I used to with my Android phones before replacing them with the fruity variety. Over all, the tablet is well built, fits in the pocket of every pair of jeans and coat I have. This makes it much more portable than my iPad 2 with a full leather case. I still use them equally (the ipad more for business use as I own my own company.) as they both have their strong points. That being said, I honestly can't find any faults in the device. My only gripe (not a Samsung issue) is the web browsing experience isn't as good as an iPad just due to the flash ads which are normal sized while the rest of the web page is smaller. It makes it difficult and to fix it I'll just dissable/remove flash from the device. For those who are wondering size wise, the tab 7+ is half the size of an ipad which is perfect for it's current main use as terminal/engine diagnostics.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, fits in pocket, fast, great battery life

Small, yet powerful tablet

Began looking for an e-reader that would do more. Looked at both the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet. Both were OK but were pretty limited to access to other than "their" applications.
Bought the 7.0 Plus as soon as it was available locally. Am still learning its capabilities but have been very pleased that I "upgraded" to this level.

Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, very good e-reader performance
Cons: case is a little slippery

Ideal size for replacing a laptop while traveling with an adequate set of comparable features.
Intuiitive interface, great graphics and an excellent ebook reqaer as well.
Synching music and picturesd with Windows was easy.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great ablet bought it just as an android device and to watch movies got a lot more than I was expecting and then some. I have an ipad as well but is to big, I dont even touch the ipad anymore. LOVE IT. ALWAYS WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO SOMEONE.

This tablet does everything I want from email to art and movies to books. It's super fast and has lots of memory. Also, it's the perfect size to fit in my cargo pockets, so I can have it wherever I go. I only wish I had gotten a 4G version, but that doesn't keep me from loving this tablet!

This is my first tablet and my first real experience with the Android OS. I am very impressed with the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. It does what I expected and much more. It boots quickly and I can get things done much faster than waiting for my laptop to boot up.
I originally looked at getting a tablet with a 10" screen, but decided they were too large and I wanted a tablet that was more portable. That is when I noticed the 7" Plus tablet was coming out. It is the perfect size for portability.
I'm looking forward to finding new ways to use my tablet to get things done.

What I have been waiting for!

I was using the Motorola Xoom which is a great unit but the size and weight are an issue for me. I use the tablet for work and I prefer something smaller and lighter.
The 7.0 Plus is the first "real" honeycomb tablet with some power and features.
Battery seems to not last as long as advertised, many of the tablet app's on Google Market are not available for the 7" which makes no sense to me. I do get a pause on some app's but I am not sure if it is the app or the unit.

Overall a great unit!
