Dependable Plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace the same (older) model purchased when my house was new in 1997! Not a single problem (nor cost other than electricity to run it) in 19 years!!! I can't recall anything else (appliance or otherwise) that lasted as long!

Great size and layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the size and layout of this refrigerator. I needed something this size to fit into the spot in my kitchen and this is perfect. The layout of the shelves and drawers in both the refrigerator and freezer are excellent. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
I have 2 "complaints." First, in order to get and keep the freezer at the necessary 0 degrees, I have found that I have to keep the freezer at least 3/4 full..... otherwise, it does not stay at or below 0 degrees. Second, the plastic "barriers" on the refrigerator door shelves are very cheap and snap off and fall to the ground if you aren't careful. I would not put anything heavy on the refrigerator door shelves... nor anything that is in glass that would break if it falls.
It's a shame that the refrigerator door shelf "barriers" are so cheap because the rest of the unit are excellent. I really do love my new refrigerator, but Frigidaire needs to redesign the refrigerator door shelves. They are excellent sizes and there is plenty of room, but with the fear that things will fall out... you can't use them as intended.

Large freezer capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old refrigerator died and I needed a new one ASAP. I went to my local appliance center and they had this one available: the right size to fit the space, and in my price range. When it was delivered I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has quite a bit more space than my old refrigerator, and in fact the freezer seems nearly double the size, even though the whole unit is not much larger than my old one. The styling is not flashy, but it has rounded edges so is reminiscent of older models and not just boxy like most units. I am also looking forward to the energy savings touted, as my old refrigerator was not energy efficient. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Good refrigerator, a bit noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought another frigidaire because I have never had any problems with them, this one is good so far. Noisy motor and if you close the refrigerator door too hard the pressure will pop the freezer door open so I have to make sure every time I close the fridge door the freezer stays closed
