Flimsy door guard

Have had the unit about 4 months. The guards on the door shelves are flexible and have dislodged several times, spilling the shelf contents to the floor. When this happened today and I lost a bottle of Guiness, I felt compelled to write. I have now re-inforced the shelf ends with Duct tape but this is a design flaw that could be easily prevented.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought Frigidaire because I know it is one of the best brands in my price range. It has had this reputation since I was a child in the 1940s. I like the drawer near the top for cheese and meat in particular. All aroind makes it great in my kitchen.

Good deal

I have had the fridge for a little over a month, and it tends to make a loud humming noise occasionally. Other than that, it is a nice fridge, with plenty of room, and keeps things at the perfect temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible design

This refrigerator is cheaply made. Only had for 1 month and the door handle is already broken. Makes too much noise. Ice falls out of the tray into the freezer all the time. Storage doors are flimsy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey JohnJIB, I am sorry to hear that your refrigerator is making some loud noises. Typically, the compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and the noise should disappear as the refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Hope this helps! Thank you, Jennifer
