Pleasing Look but Constant Fan is Annoying

Chose this range for sleek design and features and to match other appliances in our full kitchen remodel. However, only after install, did we realize that a fairly noisy fan would constantly blow cold air at our waistlines during the entire cooking cycle. The manual only suggests this fan comes on periodically. This is not true as the fan starts immediately when the controls are switched on. A cooling fan would make sense after cooking is completed or if the cook top/oven reached a certain temperature. Design engineers should rethink this flaw (see many other reviews from recent purchasers) and either add a deflector, make an extra flange to hang just in front of the fan thus sending the air to the sides or move the fan so it vents elsewhere (sides or back). We like the range otherwise and prefer not to return it. However, if we find it intolerable or impossible to "McGyver" a way to deflect that air, we may do so.

Looks great in our kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used all of the features yet but like the way the stove performs so far. It should get a good workout this Thanksgiving. The only thing is how it installs if there is no countertop in back is not great looking. The metal piece that is included in the installation package does not look good since it does not install flush with the top of the stove. We made our own insert in the back out of wood and painted it black. It looks really nice. You can see it in photo #4.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unsatisfactory features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found the manual is poor is explaining features. The fan runs all the time whenever using burners or bake mode (this was not explained). We have had to adjust baking times and temperatures for everything we use oven for in bake mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Function is good. Fast preheat and good constant heat. great convection for baking. The plastic around the knobs is HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING it melts very easily! We barely brushed it with a hot pan of water and not it has a nasty white plastic line across the front. It is very annoying!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like all the features this stove has. The oven takes a very long time to heat. The oven racks are very nice and extra thick. I really like the quick heating burner. It’s faster than my microwave.
However there are 2 degisn flaws. The control knobs should never have been placed on top and in front of the cook top. Obviously, designed by some one who does not cook. It is quite dangerous. Everytime I lean across the cook top or brush by the front: a burner turns on! In fact these should all be recalled and replaced with a safer knob. The other issue I have is when you open the oven door, food could easily fall down the top of the door through the ventilation holes and inbetween the two glass door panels. If this does happen, you would have to take the oven door apart to clean it out.
If it wasn’t for the terrible knobs, I would give this stove a 4.5.
I don’t notice that it’s noisy or that cold air blows out from the oven vent, since
I cook with clothes on. I do wish it had two ovens, one small (quick heating) and one full size, instead of the warming drawer, that no one uses.
This stove came with the house I just bought. Imwould never have purchased this unit.

Not worth the money

The constantly running fan is annoying, the cheap plastic front has melted in spots and the oven can’t be trusted to bake anything. Bad purchase!
