Fast heating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, but don't like the fact that the front fan comes on as soon as I turn on a stove eye or the oven. It blows directly on me while I'm cooking and is cold.

Nice stove but hate the fan!

There is a fan that runs constantly when oven is on and about 15 mins after its off and it blows right up your shirt if you are standing in front of it using the stove. Absolutely hate it, would like to know how to turn it off or redirect it! So annoying!

Good range but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range with a set from the gallery stainless smudged proof line. First issue is the refrigerator’s finish does not match the rest of the finishes in this line. Second issue is the control panel looks cheaply made-it’s big black panel is plastic and takes away from the the beauty of the rest of the range. The final issue is the fan that blows air constantly is bothersome. I gave the stove three stars because so far it is performing well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SO FAR GOOD BUT...

I am generally happy with it so far (especially the convection capability) but it has only been 2 mos. I am, however, VERY disappointed in the ceramic cooktop because it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep from scratching the surface. I have been VERY diligent about not sliding pots or pans on the heating element and tried to just SET the pot/pan on the element. It is still scratched after only 2 months. Very frustrating. Frigidaire needs to find a scratch-resistant coating or an entirely different material to address this issue.

Thank you for sharing your experience. With proper care, the glass cooktop should be reasonably scratch-resistant! We recommend applying cooktop cleaning cream to the surface before the first use (mentioned on page 47 of the Owner's Manual). This will help protect the surface from scratches as well as make cleaning off food debris easier, and may assist in buffing out the scratches currently present. Cleaning cream should be reapplied after each regular cleaning! no good features at all

Recently bought this range and hate it. The fans that run constantly, even when the cooktop only is on. The front of the range is ugly, cheap plastic and the slant means I cannor see the time or temp unless I am right in front of the range and then get blown by those stupid fans. I live in a cold climate and have to leave the room when the fans first come on, even after the air is warm, the fans are loud and annoying and never stop, and dry out my contact lenses. I owned a previous Frigidaire range and the vent was in the back where it belongs, and then of course the air went up my overhead vent like it should. Who did this design obviously never used it. Why isn't the drawer on the bottom a warming drawer? I cannot afford to buy another range, so I would like a full refund of my purchase price of this inferior product. I am now facing Thanksgiving with this awful thing.
