Cheap Plastic around controls

Have had for around 2 months and have contacted store where purchased because of the plastic around the controls is peeling off and white shows through
so far not happy about this. Hoping they will replace defected piece. Otherwise works good.

Noisy fan and fan blowing a lot of air on me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Model FGE3065PF. When a burner is turned on the fan is activated. The fan is very noisy and a lot of air is blown on the person cooking at the range. It also occurs when the oven is turned on. This is very disturbing. I expected more out of the Frigidaire Gallery line. I understand that the air movement is needed to keep the electronics from over heating, but the design engineers should have done a better job of taking this noise and air blowing into account. I have had the fan replaced once already and it did not improve the situation. This range is a failure and I cannot recommend it in its present design. Frigidaire, please respond with regard to the corrections that you have to fix this major flaw in this range.

fan is an issue

I just bought this stove and hate it. The fan comes on and blows hot air on me while I'm using the cook top. The air gets deflected off my body and travels up to my face the entire time I am cooking. I can not imagine anyone wanting a stove like this. The fan stays on the entire time I'm cooking. Very unpleasant. They can tell me it's part of the design but I challenge the designer to cook on this stove ... not acceptable ... it goes back tomorrow

Sharp edges

I have had this range for about 2 years. Overall a good product, however, edges of the bottom drawer are VERY sharp, potentially a safety issue. Also, if you have kids or pets stick with a model with the knobs in the back. Front knobs are very sensitive & will turn on with the slightest movement. There is a lock feature, but you have to remember to lock it after every use. Would not buy again.

Seems to heat slowly and does not seem to cook as fast as previous electric oven. Door has to be fully open or fully closed. My previous ovens had a position about 6-8 inches open that the door could be placed when cooking toast and/or using the broiling feature.

Nice stove with lots of features that I like!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this stove for about 3 weeks and love it. The blurb about cleaning up spills immediately is dumb, even a wet cloth will burn if you try to clean up a spill while cooking. I really like that it has three racks, I can make lots of cookies quickly when my grandchildren come to visit. The only real problem I had was removing all the protective plastic. Why they put that stuff under door handles and in joints is a mystery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
