Do Not Buy

We had it for only a few months. It worked wonderfully then one morning we put in a cup of coffee and the door wouldn't close. Even holding the door closed, it would heat anything. I threw it away, it wasn't worth the hastle to trying to get a new one. I was very disappointed as I love my other Whirlpool appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

EXcellent Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d been looking for a small microwave for a long time because we have a gallery kitchen that leaves us very little counter space. After. checking out a few businesses that carried this model and reading favorable reviews here, I decided to order this Whirlpool ountertop microwave oven in black. Not only does it fit Perfectly on our counter, leaving plenty of work space; it performs like a dream! More powerful then our last microwave, the glass plate locks on top of the center revolving guide so it eliminates sliding/readjusting, and the controls are on the bottom rather then the side of the microwave. So far, we are loving our purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fits my cabinet space

Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would be excited to purchase a microwave. This microwave is the perfect size and I love that it doesn't have 15 extra buttons that I never use. It does everything I need to it has a clock, it has a reheat and popcorn button that cooks the popcorn perfectly. The microwave fits a standard size plate and small cups. I would highly recommend this product!

The microwave Apple would make

Such excellent design, from bottom up, that I wish evert product were researched and thought this well. A minimum of buttons, yet very intuitive to operate. Door opening is elevated by 3 inches (motor etc is on the bottom, not side) so you’re less likely to knock things off the counter when you open the door. Mostly round inside, so absolutely no wasted space like most rectangular models ... small footprint but I’ve never had a problem fitting anything in it! Doesn’t overlyy beep at you, e.g. when food is done and you open the door it stops beeping, unlike other machines. As I write this, it has lasted me at least 7 years and still goong strong, good as new. Whoever the engineer was who designed this machine, he/she sure knew what they were doing.

Perfect for my tiny kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this microwave 4 months ago and have been loving it so much! My kitchen has VERY limited counter space, so I wanted something that would take up the least amount of room without sacrificing quality. This microwave is perfect for our home! Two things to note:
1. It looks a bit like an old-fashioned TV in the corner of our space. We've had a few house guests mention this - if that's a turn off for you, that's important to know. I think it's CUTE!
2. The door to the microwave opens really easily, BUT sometimes the entire microwave shifts when I open the door. I would've recommended they weight the base a bit more so the whole thing doesn't move when the door opens.
3. The door opens right to left (hinges on the left). This is perfect for my kitchen, but it would be very annoying/a bad fit for me if it opened the opposite way because the hinges stop the door from opening at about 90º.

Great Little Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen and removed a large Microwave and looked for awhile foe a small one to set on the counter. We found the perfect small Microwave in this Whirlpool unit and absolutely Love it ! Looks like a very small old time TV. We get so many compliments on it and friends always ask “What is that?” And they are surprised to find out it’s a microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!
