Outstanding Product Exceeded all expectations!

We have been using the unit for a few months & it is outstanding. We read all the reviews both Pro & Con and since we have been using it, we found the Cons to be totally WRONG or misleading. Love the 30 sec timer. I should note that this is the opinion of both husband & wife.

Great for Small Spaces

I bought this microwave because I have a small kitchen and am short, so I don't like the over the oven microwaves. This Whirlpool microwave is cute! People often ask us if it is a TV. My 11" plates fit in it. It doesn't have a lot of fancy features which is okay with me. I generally just use the microwave to heat things up. I don't live in NYC but think it would be a great addition to a NYC closet kitchen. I've had it for about 4 months, and, so far, no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to see the control panel

I like everything about the microwave except I can't see the control panel very well. Over time, I've gotten accustomed to it, but the buttons are hard to see.

Lasted Only 3 Years No Service Option

I purchased this model 3 years and it worked great until bright flashes started happening when in use. I made sure it was not related to the container material (e.g. metal, ceramic, etc). When I contacted Whirlpool customer service I was informed it has no serviceable parts and the only option is to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whirlpool corner countertop microwave.

Lasted about a year. Liked it until then. My GE lasted over 20 years. Very unhappy with this product.

Love the look and size of this unit. It really is perfect when counter space is limited. The only downside is that the 'buttons' are hard to see (black on black) and there are no easy-to-push buttons for 1-5 minutes as in other microwaves. Seems to get anything over :30 seconds, one needs to keep pushing buttons until the desired time appears. Perhaps I have not yet discovered an easy shortcut.

Small adorable cute. Doesnt take up too much space. Works GREAT with heating. Fits full sized dinner plate. I am glad I made this purchase, its just what i wanted. I dont use a microwave very often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave to replace one in our travel trailer. It had to fit the existing space.With a small adjustment to the shelf opening it fit fine. Have only used it on one trip, so far.The bright blue digital clock was a bit much at night. Would be nice if it could be dimmed.For road travel, it needs to be anchored to the shelf. I fabricated a tie-down system, but it would be nice if it had anchor points but in.
