STOP THAT BEEPING

Horrible loud beeping, not a litthe beep, no BEEP,BEEP,BEEP, yes I know you are ready.
Hate it, opened it to find the beeper but it is hidden in the control panel.

The Truth?

I don't have any lights in my house. Only one extension cord from my neighbors with one plug outlet. So you could imagine my surprise when my only light source (the bulb in the microwave) went out. I don't know what I will do. Now, at night, I can't watch my food cook. Maybe it will save me from getting too close to the microwave when it is on, which I hear is a bad thing.
I don't have any wax paper either. If memory serves me correctly, that wax is made from petrol products. I don't care who on the internet says it is a good idea, it is not. Let's just heat up glass and ceramic and food in the microwave. I don't think putting thin paper with a petroleum coating on it, in a microwave, is good for anyone!
And that cord! I have all the cords in my house matching. The microwave came with a white cord, so, since I only have the one extension cord, I had to find a white one to match. Sweeeet, it looks soooo good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Compact Microwave

We purchased this microwave to replace our Sharp full-size microwave. Our apartment has limited counter space and this microwave was a great choice. It takes up far less room than a standard microwave without losing the power.Overall, the microwave performs well. We use our microwave for basic things like reheating food and making popcorn and we thought it heated just as fast and evenly as any standard microwave. It took a couple days to get used to the control settings, but it's pretty easy to learn.We would recommend this microwave to anyone living in an apartment or in need of more counter space. It's just as good as a standard microwave and less than half the size!

Perfect for my small kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my counter top microwave recently and Whirlpool is the only one making a Corner Microwave. It frees up precious counter space in my small kitchen and works well. Better directions to regulate the power would have been helpful.

Nice little microwave but control panel is peeling

Bought this 3 weeks ago and already the control panel "start" button membrane is peeling. The unit is used just to re-heat a few items each day and there's only 2 adults in our household so the unit is not over-used or abused in any way. Is there a coating that should be peeled off? If there is, hope WP can let me know. Couldn't find info regarding this in the manual and didn't want to peel off a protective coating if there isn't.
