Perfect fit.

Compact yet powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size and simple functions. This microwave is a space saver without giving up the power of a std. size. It doesn't overheat the food and you can reheat, heat in 30 sec. intervals and adjust the power level. Nice sleek design too - perfect for an apartment with minimal space or as a second microwave.

Small, but Mighty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so tired of having a countertop microwave that hogged the whole counter. This Whirlpool Microwave has an incredibly small footprint, yet it’s extraordinary design allows me to fit a 10 1/4 inch plate in it to reheat a meal! Since it is 750 watts, I use an app to convert cooking times from the 1100 watt standard. Surprisingly, this microwave oven seems to heat food more evenly than my previous Sharp microwave, which was much larger and almost 50% more powerful. I credit this to the innovative design and uniquely shaped interior. If you must have “instant gratification”, this is not the microwave for you. It does take longer to do the job, but I don’t mind the extra time, when the end product is better. Kudos to Whirlpool engineers for thinking outside of the box!
My only “complaints” are:
1. The feet. Put rubber feet on it to keep it from sliding when you open the door. I bought rubber bumpers, and given the design of the “feet”, jury-rigged a workable solution. Surely, proper non-slip feet could be designed and manufactured as a standard part of the product.
2. The cost. This is an expensive microwave for its size, probably due to the redesign cost and retooling cost to manufacture it. I would hope to see the price come down in the future.

New Cool Shape Microwave!!

I love it. It’s modern & enhances my beautiful modern kitchen.
