Disappointed

Curser has a mind of its own, not particularly fast running. Overall I am really disappointed and let down by this product and wish I had continued to buy the product I was originally going to buy.
Spoke to someone else who has the same product and has exactly the same issue with the curser.

Good Little Computer

I already have an HP Pavilion laptop which must be at least 7 years old and going strong. I did want a small laptop for travel and decided on the Pavilion dm1. This little laptop has everything I require and is used mainly for emails and internet. I will given time use it for music. photos etc. Loads of storage and it wasbought at a very good price. Very happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

not what I thought, had to return

I purchased a dm1 3175 from Currys as it was supposed to have 2 USB 3.0 ports. However after getting it home I realised this was not correct. Curry's website incorrectly stated it had usb 3.0. The machine itself was fine but as I had wanted usb 3.0 I returned it and was given a full refund, Curry's website was altered to show the correct information

Better than i thought

As someone who is passed retiring age, i was a bit concerned about being able to use a small notebook computer, as regards to the font size and keyboard size, allso the brightness of the screen. I should not have worried, as my HP notebook is as enjoyable to use as my HP Pavillion HPE main computer.

This HP Pavilion dm1-4175 is an Excellent travel Companion.It has superb!!! battery life,brilliant crisp clear display, comfortable keyboard just perfect. The Sound system is outstanding for a laptop/netbook of this size.with 4GB ram what else can one ask for.!

Really like HP products
Bought a new laptop four years ago with and have not had any problems to worry about so now all my preferred computer products are now HP.
Have two HP laptops and also two printers and they work well. I like the look of them and they are user friendly.

Great little machine

This is a great product - compact size, great battery life and reasonable price.
One gripe is the tiny Page Up/Page Down keys (and I have slender fingers) - but you get used to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little laptop

I bought this for a european tour - its small. light and has a long battery life, plus a good range wireless ariel, and built in bluetooth for grabbing pictures from my mobile phone. It fits what I need perfectly, holds it charge for a long time and is small enough to put in a bag and take to a cafe to use theor free wifi. It does lack a cd/dvd drive but this hasnt bothered me, but if you needed one you could use a small external one. Oh yes, and its got 3 usb ports which are very useful. The only problem I have had had been the keyboard and mouse stop working when the ambient air temperature gets to around 28C. Other than that, its perfect for what I want to use it for.
