Only thing I would change is making it like the new BB Priv and giving it an Android guts so it can run Google Play store app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved the phone itself however my IT department stated they dont supprt email on the phone. After two days of researching i gave up and took it back. There were also a few apps i couldnt get on the phone; some where important such as banking.

Almost Perfect - not for use in a Mac OS

I have been a long term BB user going back to the RIM days in the late 90s (RIM800 pager). When they fell apart a few years ago, I had to leave the platform for a more integrated environment with work. With the advent of BB10 and the ability to port android apps, and with native support on the new Priv, I was hopeful to finally go back to a physical keyboard and what I consider to be the best OS for PIM. Unfortunately, BB10 with ported android apps on the Passport is too buggy, and what should be a phenomenal work flow (BB10 OS is unrivaled in my opinion in terms of work flow) is frustrating. Going with a native android BB in the Priv, I see no point in sticking with BB. If BB gets the bugs out (screen stalling sometimes, randomly closing programs) and can manage linking to google store, this would be a winner. But as is, it isn't as productive as other smartphones on the market. And if you are in a MAC environment - forget about it. BB link is still terrible for it.
How I miss my RIM pager... That was all I needed...

A good phone for business and finance

"The box account" on blackberry keeps sending me emails. I don't use it that much. I love the screen and keyboard. I don't recommend for personal use like music, photos, video, use only for spreadsheets which take some skill.

I have been using Blackberry phones over 12 years. This is the first one that I may regret purchasing. I still have not been able to access my work email; nor am I able to send a group text message. I have looked for solutions on line but have not found one. I also do not like when I am on the phone the screen goes blank and I have to tap the phone several times to end the call. So far, this phone has been a disappointment for me. I am trying not to lose hope

Lousy Battery Life

I bought the phone three weeks ago. Battery never lasted more than eight hours. It was down to 40% today after four hours of pretty much being in standby (one phone call that lasted one minute and not used other than that). That was after setting display lighting to lowest setting (can't view outside) and not allowing any programs to run in background (which is not desirable for several reasons). I loved the screen. Keyboard took some time to get used to as bottom row of letters is split up by space bar instead of the space bar below the letters but not bad. If the phone's battery was as good as other reviewers' reviews, I would have kept the phone.
