I upgraded from other Blackberry and I have never regretted it. I had to get adjusted to the size which after a few weeks I grew accustomed to because the screen size was exactly what I needed.. you know aging eyes. I have found the passport to be very good and the upgraded features are also great! This phone features are also great. I use it regularly for participation in conference calls and the quality is just top of the line. If you are a business person, this is the phone for you. I just love it!!

Back to BlackBerry after a bout with Samsung. BlackBerry 10 OS is excellent and the Passport is the most amazing device. Totally happy!

I got the passport a week ago (I upgraded from a Z10) and using the phone is just flawless. The phone has the right size for my hands. The screen size is absolutely stunning; color, resolution and the way emails, spreadsheets, videos and pictures are shown makes very easy to be productive. I have few apps (I’m not 17 years old anymore) and they work as they are supposed to.
OS 10.3 has helpful improvements that complements the hardware. Hopefully the other devices, before 2015 generation, will get the updated OS before this summer. By the way, the MUSIC APP now includes an Equalizer (finally!!) and since the phone has an FM receptor, it also includes an FM tuner.
About the battery, I charged the phone all the way to 100% and I was able to use it for almost 2.5 days. By 8pm of the second day the battery went down to 20% and since the “Battery Saving Mode” auto activation is active by default, the phone saves even more energy at that point.
Finally, migrating my data from the Z10 to my new Passport was easy since I used BB Link. I noticed the Setup App mentions they have a way to transfer data from iPhone and Android devices as well, for anybody out there wondering if they would lose any data if moving to a BB device.

The BlackBerry Passport is well ahead of the pack. I'm a small business owner and have greatly reduced my dependence on other technologies. No regrets with the purchase. I've used both android and apple phones and while both have great points, I simply find that they just can't keep up with the BlackBerry 10 operating system. It is intuitive and makes staying on top of my communications so simple. As a frequent traveler, the blackberry travel feature has made my life easier. Finally, a phone keeps up with me. Tip: for novice and seasoned users, it is worth it to download the full user manual for the device and to tune in to some of BlackBerry's tips and tricks social media platforms. This phone is capable of so much. Learning on your phone as you g and running the built in tutorial will simply not allow you to maximize your investment, trust me. Great job BlackBerry!

Better than expected!

I've had my Passport for close to a month now. I wanted to give it a fair chance to succeed so I learned as much as I could about the phone. I tapered my expectations to former Blackberry models I've used as opposed to a completely different platform (i.e. IOS, Android and Windows) because each has its own way of doing the same thing. Having said that, The passport is a monumental leap from my old Torch model. The build quality is first rate as is the Blackberry 10 os. I'm one of those dinosaurs that still makes phone calls so it's nice to see call quality hasn't diminished over the years. My last phone was a Galaxy Note 3 so I am dependent on some Google services live Google Drive and photos, but Docs to Go has served my needs for the former still playing around with the latter. Most of my gaming is done on an Android tablet so I'm not at all concerned about the latest and greatest on such a small screen. The same can be said about consuming media too. My Passport is primarily used for talk, text, emails and file transfers. That may not be popular in today's culture of media driven phones, but my personal needs are met quite nicely. Granted, there was some initial hesitation reaching out from familiarity, but after a couple of weeks of constant use, we're old buds now!
