what can I say? this phone does it all. Only thing missing is an IR blaster, but really is all. This phone has the best battery. the best best sounding speakers you have ever heard in a phone. superb call quality and beautifully smooth operating system. Now the negatives. the camera although excellent, takes to long to focus. the keyboard takes way to much pressure to press the keys. the new silver model I believe fixed that problem, but att is not selling that one. No widgets. this phone also has wireless charging that not many people mention. I have yet to try it out though. this is the best phone, I have ever had. and I have had many many phones. android app work about 65% of the time. shazam/soundhound, one of my favorites, for some reason does not work on this phone.

I was not sure if I wanted to get the BB Passport due to its unique shape and size. However, after reading many reviews and seeing the positive feedback I finally decided to give it a try. Let's say that I am happy I did go with the Passport over the Classic. The features are great - lots of ability to multi task, great speaker and sound, amazing graphics, good screen size, etc. The hybrid half touch screen with the full Qwerty keyboard is also cool. Sure it's geared more towards business but it can do what Android and IOS do. I think most people with Blackberrys want a solid phone that is secure and operates well and not just a phone for watching videos and playing games all day. This phone is solid. It might take a little getting used to the size but it is perfect for web surfing, emailing, messaging and the phone part of it actually works well too. I highly recommend it.

And I've pretty much tested them all. Phone call clarity - check. Picture clarity - check check. Workhorse - triple check. Battery life - magnificent. Want to make an impression? Show up to a Mtg with this and you will be the talk about. I get so many people commenting on it in a positive way. I rarely use my cell to talk, it's mainly texting, email, and taking photos. Did I mention that it's memory expands to 128gb? Yes gb...and the music sounds wonderful! Did I also mention the NATO level security? Yeah, after being hacked on iphone and Samsung I went back to olf faithful...BB.

From Sprint Galaxy S3 to ATT Blackberry Passport

So... I received my Passport three days ago. One word- AMAZING! Obviously there are a number of features that have a learning curve but once you get past those, this phone (it's really a pocket computer) does it all extremely well.
The form factor feel awkward initially, especially if you're used to a rectangular form factor; but if you have large hands like myself, it takes a couple of days to get used to it. I probably wouldn't recommend this phone for those of you that don't like large phones.
Typing on this phone is a welcomed addition and the trackpad/keyboard feature is too good. The fact that I have to touch the screen minimally now is nice. If you like to type with one hand, then you are probably better off looking somewhere else. I on the other hand, like to use 2 hands to type. It's safer, I don't text while driving anymore and I find that I am only texting/ talking only when I have time to pull over or pause.
The screen is crisp and clear. The video that this camera takes is smooth. The pictures are balanced. However, the only thing I noticed so far is that if you are taking pictures of objects that are far from you, the object can come out blurry. I'm sure there are settings that I am not properly employing at the moment.
The battery, as others have mentioned, is the best I have ever experienced. With heavy use, my phone lasts an entire day without charging. My last phone (Galaxy S3) lasted about an hour and a half before I either needed to switch out the battery or frantically find somewhere to plug it in.
Other than the phone, the software is amazing. I have it plugged into my computer (as we speak) and I can send and receive texts through the Blackberry software on my computer...AWESOME.
As I am working on my computer when incoming texts and emails come in, my phone beeps (to let me know I am receiving a notification), and I am able to respond directly from the computer ( and not have to even pick up or look at my phone). I can't stress this feature enough.
I can also setup and update my calendar for the next couple of days directly through the computer. Once I unplug the phone, my Passport beeps throughout the day to remind me of tasks (that I had previously inputted) I need to complete .
If I add new tasks to my phone (for the next day) while out-n-about, when I hook up the phone to my computer at home, it automatically updates everything. Your phone and computer are always synced.
If you are looking for a phone that will help organize your life and work, up your production game, or a serious business tool... this is your phone.
I'm so happy!

After using iPhone and Samsung, I have had enough disappeared meetings, emails and IT's "Attention iPhone and Android users: Do not do x, y, z!!!" notifications. I can't express how happy I am getting back to BB. Yes, I agreed that they don't have enough apps comparing to its competitors, but it is a very solid working tool.
