I am actually typing this review with my BlackBerry! I bought this phone for texting, calling, and Email. I was sick of wasting time playing on my iPhone. And this is exactly what this phone is best at. Not a huge choice of apps, so do not purchase if that is what you are expect. The physical buttons as well as the touch screen are wonderful. Very happy!

I've been a fan for years ! I've had about 5 editions and the Classic is a "Classic" ! The camera is good, the battery is good, the durability is solid, the wireless charging & front facing camera with flash is fabulous plus touch screen ! I also love the memory ! The main reason i got it is due to the keyboard ! I can't go w/out it ! there's nothing like putting a message in detail ! And fast ! ! ! ! !

Phone is essentially the best of both android and blackberry. The size is perfect in your hands. Don't let the reviews online push you away from this device as I slightly was at first, after you hold one for the first time you'll see what I mean. Battery life has been absoloutely outstanding, emailing/phone/messaging has gotten me about two days easily. I don't do many apps, so that really hasn't been a problem for me.

Simply put, this is not a toy. It's a phone that is meant to be a phone. I do the occasional Web browsing and have a few apps....that's it. Blackberry has done well with this device and I am more than happy to be back....coming from an iphone4s. I do not have a need for phablets and was happy to see the BlackBerry did their work. BlackBerry might not be for everyone but if you were a fan in the past I suggest you give the classic a drive.

I purchased this phone when it came out and I can say it is the perfect size. It's a message sending monster and very durable, the Passport is the ultimate phone, but my Classic is my everyday Super upgraded Bold, love it.
