I use this phone in law school from 9am until 9 or 10pm and still have enough power for the next day.

I waited a long time for this phone, and it was totally worth it! I can send correctly-spelled, properly-puncutuated e-mails to my boss AND use all the apps I really want. The keyboard is fantastic, the browser is amazing (reader mode, anyone?), and the WiFi hotspot functionality is incredibly useful. I am loving this phone!

Gosh I LOVE this phone!!

I had been waiting for this phone since I first heard about it. My number 1 priority was a full keyboard smartphone. The Classic satisfies that need perfectly! I am not a social diva but I do use Facebook to keep up with distant family and for when we are traveling. I text a lot and can not tolerate a virtual keyboard. Drives me nuts. The Classic keyboard is perfect. I owned a Blackberry Torch (which I loved till I dropped it) then I went to a Samsung Galaxy S4. The S4 was OK except I hated being required to set-up a Google account (which is now closed!) and I hated the annoying fat finger syndrome on the keyboard. Not a Google fan.
The Classic is a serious phone. I use it for business when we travel. No problems there. The touchscreen is problem free. Even though I love having the track pad back, I have never had an occasion where I have had to use it. The Classic touchscreen actually works better than my S4 did.
I feared I would lose/miss some of the apps I had accrued on my S4. I have all the same apps back on my Classic. Love that there is an Amazon apps icon on the Classic and that Blackberry verifies they are malware free prior to download.
Thank you Blackberry. Keep up the great work!!

Excellent Communication Device

If you don't depend on any other ecosystem (Google/Apple/MS) then this is an excellent device for you. Better radio and better battery than the BB Z10. Tool-belt is such a "Welcome Back!" feature. Little expensive for the specs but there is really no alternative for the features.

Another Great Product from BB

This is my second BB. You can tell that OS 10 was written for "Touch Only" phones but the addition of the tactile keyboard just makes it that much better. I wish the native app library was larger but it also runs android apps as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After struggling for a week with a Galaxy Note 4, I traded it in for the Blackberry Classic. I am absolutely impressed with this phone. The Assistant is much better than the "ok google" or "hi galaxy" assistant features on the Galaxy. The phone is easy to understand, and learning the new features (I had a Blackberry a long time ago) is no problem. While this phone may not be as capable when it comes to multimedia applications (games and video), it FAR surpasses the other smartphones I have used when it comes to the phone, email, texting, and the essential functions of a smartphone. For example, there is a dedicated microphone key you press when you want to speak a text or give a voice command. Accessing the Assistant and its features is much easier than utilizing similar features on other phones (I gave us trying to get the Galaxy to read my emails...it just took too long to get it to do what I wanted it to do). . The Assistant is really an assistant, not just a cool feature you try out once or twice. With the Galaxy I had tremendous trouble opening apps, and I often could not see the screen (when outside), the screens would change by accident frequently. The Blackberry Classic is made very well, fits in the hand comfortably, and easily slides into your pocket. It feels like a high quality tool, not some piece of cheap plastic. Get this phone. You WILL NOT regret it.
