I bought two, one for my brother and myself, i had an itouch but screen was always to small, so i jumped on this media player when i saw it come out. I loved it so much i got one for my father and my god son. I would recommend this to anyone. battery life is great. small enough to carry around but large enough to watch video etc. Using wifi you can skype or surf the web. camera is pretty decent. Overall i am pleased and happy with my purchase.
This media player offers excellent value. Access to the full Android Marketplace, with many fantastic, free or low-prices apps. It has a GPS chip that's very accurate and quick and works well with GPS navigation apps. Graphic equalizer to tailor the sound. Lots of storage space if you add a microSD card. It has a beautiful, large screen with a great picture and strong graphic performance with a form factor that can fit in your pocket or one hand. Full access to the Internet with Flash support for videos. I can't think of a thing wrong with it. I use this in place of my laptop for much of the day and enjoy browsing the Internet, checking e-mail, listening to music, watching video, and playing with fascinating apps downloaded from the Android marketplace.
My daughter received the Galaxy Player 5 for Christmas. It's an excelent larger display media player.
Her galaxy player been configured for WiFi calling as well, so she can use it for voice and texting while connected to the home WiFi network. She also likes using Skype with the front facing camera for video calls to family members.
We like the vibrant 5" display, and find the pixle density to be fine for this size. She uses the kindle and nook apps for reading on the go.
Excellent product with great feature set and Android flexibility.
I needed to buy a new MP3 player, since my last one died. I wanted a player with expandable memory, which left another popular brand out of the search. I decided on going with an Android device. The only one I could find that met my specs was the YG-70. Once I got it, I haven't put it down. The screen is great. The audio clarity is superb. I have no problem recommending this to anyone.
Very easy to use, many apps. bought it because all other e readers you have too buy e books from only there store. With the galasxy you can get e books from many stores
I've been able to own this for just three weeks now and I'm hooked. I won't go into over wording the review and try and leave it simple with just the likes:
1. Integrates nicely with my 55D8000 2. Plays ALMOST everything I throw at it - FLAC & MKV 3. LOUD & clear volume 4. Long battery life 5. Able to use VOIP via WiFi 6. MicroSD card slot 7. Gets attention everywhere I go 8. I don't have to pay a monthly fee to my moble service provider to use it nor can they track me 9. Has everything I wanted in a media player (almost bought a derelict player that rhymes with zoom a.d. with 25% of the features) 10. Not an i device
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, expandable data storage
Cons: little to no accessory support
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the fact that when I have wifi access I can perform many tasks (update calendar, read email, text, web search etc.) without having to use my phone company's data plan, or fire up my computer.
