This thing is awesome. It runs on Android, which is a big reason on why I bought this. I am both a photographer and a dev, and the camera on this thing is great. Although 3.2 megapixels might not be that awesome as smartphones nowadays, but it is SO much better than the iTouch's. Also Android allows people to download ROMS and OS's which you can find at xda developers. However the screen freezes sometimes, which is very annoying.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

every thing is awsom with this player the only down fall is you can't put digital movies that you get in the stores and put them on it. I found out the hard way. But other then that It has a radio and internet via WiFI and you can add more memery with mico SD card
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, radio, wifi, screen size, stays charged for long time
Cons: cant watch digital copys from dvd that you buy

was looking for an MP3 player, slightly oversized, however have had it for three days and am addicted to functionality and ease of use... my brother has the phone version and loved his, so why not get the larger unit

After seeing this SAMSUNG product,I decided right away to get one.Owned this product now for almost a month and I could not present any complaint.All that I can say is SATISFIED & so HAPPY that this product was manufactured.I don't need to mention the features because what was described is what exactly you get.I therefore conclude that this product is a GOLD MEDALIST.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: pricey thou but worth.

Great overall product

I bought this out of wanting something that not everyone had but from a company that I know and trust. I love this product except for one little thing: that would be the plasticy feel to it. It's not something that is going to prevent me from liking it or using it all the time just a slight annoyance.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

i bought the 5.0 because of the size(i have large hands) its not too big but the ipod touch is too small in my opinion.you can still hold it in one hand.feature for feature it matches ipod and in some cases surpasses it.fm tuner,better camera better battery life and most important,expandable memory via mini sd.android marked has hundreds of thousands of apps.not too much it cant do as far as entainment goes..top notch product..love it

Did a lot of research (and used a friend's GP4). Fast enough for playing movies and streaming the audio to bluetooth headphones. Movies look great - even at 186 ppi on the 5" screen. Ghost Armour has both screen protectors and 'full armour' so lack of glass screen should be np. For movies the size is unbeatable - <4" too small and 7" and up too big to carry around.Great battery life (turn off Wifi and GPS when not specifically using them - easy to do via the top menu). Using Navigation app (connected to Wifi to get directions, then just GPS once on road) worked flawlessly. Specs for device are a bit dated, but it's the best non-phone, handheld Android device out now. Not sure what too wait for. Higher res screen that doesn't add much to the experience? Faster processor(s) so that apps open 1/2 sec sooner?

I am very impressed with this media player as it is very well designed and simply does everything. I especially love the microSD slot to add extra memory and the GPS. This device has so many features that elevate it to the top of the class. Friends and co-workers have asked where to buy and the price. I am truly an Android convert now after purchasing this. Great job, Samsung!
