Good size/good features

Everything is pleasing about this tablet, even the size is working well. However, I can't get the maps to work about half the time and it skips quite a bit during playing apps or games.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: skips

I like this media player. I love the features it has. I can be alittle glitchy at times. The only problem I have with it is that I've had it for almost 6 months and haven't recieved one update for it. I'm one of those people that like to have the newest gadgets and be up to date.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

After having used this player for just over a month here are a few comments:
Hardware is as advertised. I use 8-32GB SD cards w/o problems. The avg. user should keep any card installed in the player for file management (aka side loading.) Was planning on upgraded ear buds but those provided are just fine for everyday use. Note: Don't plan on using this device in direct sunlight.
Software as installed is decent > good. Most folks will not need to pick up replacement apps. Keep in mind that the graphics of most apps are scaled to smaller devices so they will display a bit too large.
Browser: Very flexible, but limited to 4 open windows (tabs, if you will.)

Audio player: Flexible enough, thumbnail view of albums, etc. is a nice touch not found on other players. Installed codecs seem decent but IME the mp3 doesn't like lower bit rate encodes (<192kb.) YMMV
Overall rating: 4.5 stars.
Pros: Inexpensive, pocket sized mini-tablet.
Cons: direct sunlight kills the display.

the value is awesome great for movies and tv! great apps get the amazon appstore! can be glitchy but just reboot and good for a week

Need to fix the WiFi.

Good Android MP3 player but Samsung need to fix the WiFi problem. It drops out at times and you lose download. The fix on their web site didn't work for me. The first Galaxy Player I purchased was returned.

Great features some little problems

We've loved the galaxy. Works as our home phone using google voice app when we're overseas. The only problem we've had is the battery charging and the indication. The battery will stay full until almost run down and then just drop to the bottom. When charging overnight the battery icon will never reach 100%. We will be trying to get it repaired under warranty.
