Purchased this for a xmas present. It has been used literally only twice since December 2012. Reason? Well, the slowness of the screen, takes to long to load apps, (which are only a few)(7) the sound quality isn't great at all. Even with headphones. I just pulled it out of the box the other day and charged it, and now it wont even come on. Has been charging all day. I even went to another outlet thinking maybe something happened to that outlet. Just very disappointed/ Didn't get the warranty from best buy but so I don't know if it could be fixed at all... :(
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Device got it for Christmas, it awesome, the only thing i don't like about it is the browser it came with could use some work. Can't wait too see what apps Samsung come up with for it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I purchased the this Galaxy player for my 4 y/o old instead of the iTouch because the screen is so much bigger, the quality of the product is way beyond what I expected it to be and overall works for our needs. I currently have the Samsung Epic 4G phone and my son use to play with all the apps. The Galaxy player is mainly use by my son to read the toddler books and play games. I use the Galaxy player to check my email when I am not in my office at work, Facebook post, recipe apps when cooking, listen to music, and read books before going to bed :-). Love it! Love it! Love it!

Cons: can't think of any

Awesome device, does everything i need, but out of the box the wifi cuts off in the middle of videos and stuff, but all you have to do is set up a static ip address which is easy. I would also recommend getting the app Poweramp, which is a much smoother music player. Other than that this thing is awesome and easy to use.

Cons: not many accessories yet

This is a wonderful product. The size is perfect for me. I can put it in my back pocket with no problem. The battery life is great. I didn’t need to charge it for 2 days and then I really didn’t need to do it then. Love the expandable slot. Definitely worth the money. The sound is perfect and clear. reading e-books is a cinch. I enjoy is so much that I purchased one for my husband.
