Great product but ...

All around this is a very great product. Basically it is a very similar to any Android based devise - and that is also it's downfall. The bloatware is a little irritating. I have previously purchased other apps that are far more superior than the stock apps. I do not like having unused/unneeded apps sitting on my devise taking up space. I would like to get rid of these apps as I will never use them.
Also I am a Mac user and went with this over an iPod due to screen and memory upgrades via an SD card. However, the software needed for updating the firmware is Windows only and still could not connect to my devise. (my old windows laptop is just that, old.)
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, Bright display
Cons: single core proc
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Galaxy Player stopped working

It worked great until, out of the blue, it stopped charging. I have only had this MP3 player for less then 2 months. I will ask Samsung to replace, repair or exchange. Until then I am NOT satisfied with the product and plan to tell everyone I know. I will re-write this review once Samsung corrects this problem.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, stopped charging, stopped working
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better then the eyepod!

This is was better then the eyepod! Eyepod can't even do what this player does! The product speak for it self!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

It runs relatively smooth, although once you start running maybe 5-10 apps it significantly starts to lag...

Did not even work for a year

Have had the Galaxy Player for 8 months and it has already stopped working. I like the features and how it handles but is a waste of money if it stops working in such a short time period.
Cons: stopped working in less than a year
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
