Best "PDA" I've ever had!

After being a Palm PDA user, I finally decided to upgrade. And since I don't need a cell phone, this has been a perfect fit for my needs.
I love that I can quickly look up stuff on the internet, have ALL my music on the player, keep copies of Office documents that I refer to frequently and I also downloaded a copy of the US Constitution so that I always have it with me! Both my girls have iTouches and I think they are kicking themselves a bit.

I love that I am able to connect to my computer and just drag & drop items to my device. Though I do wish the camera had the ability to zoom before taking a photo and perhaps having keys/buttons to control brightness or the ability to access "settings" for outside viewing or inside viewing, because there seems to be too many steps to get there and maybe a sleeptimer. But there aren't too many negatives I've found with this player. The battery life is excellant. I plug it in every night to charge and it lasts a long time.
I'm glad I made this purchase. If only there was a larger selection of cases/clips for this device, that would be even better!

It is much better than an iPod Touch

It does everything that I wanted it to do. I replaced my iPod Touch because it was difficult to sync and impossible to retrieve my music that came from my CDs. The Galaxy Player continually syncs my Google contacts and calendar with my computers. It syncs with Windows Media Center and you can drag and drop albums to the Galaxy.

Everything is perfect! The only thing it needs is a better camera. I love taking pictures and I really wish that the camera could be at least a 5mp instead of 3.2mp. But other than that, it's AWESOME! I would recommend this to anybody :)

This thing seriously does everything you could ever want in a music player! I love the EQ settings in the music player, and everything runs super smooth on it. Apps from the Android market all run great! This is by far the best music device I've ever owned!

I bought this principally as an ebook reader, downloaded Kindle and Nook and an epub program, and have used it constantly for that. But this also functions extremely well as a small tablet, as it connects to wireless networks with 3 touches, is quick and efficient, and has some kick-butt apps (like Local) that are really useful. I watched 5 seasons of Supernatural from Netflix on it (fun!) and have downloaded video. Love the crispness of the picture.
All around, a great gadget for someone on the go. A tablet that doesn't need a backpack, just a back pocket!

I've had this for several weeks now. During normal use i get about 4 days before having to recharge. The preloaded apps save a lot of time and got me up and running faster. the only drawback i have found so far is that the G sensor can be a little slow on the uptake at times sometimes taking almost to a count of 2 before changing screen orientation. This seems to happen as it first wakes up. after that it changes at a fast rate between orientations.
