Love the double doors

The double doors make it much easier to access food and take up less space when opening. The nice sliding racks contribute to the ease of access.

Many problems with this expensive oven

Many problems with this oven. Cooking is uneven. Cooking timer doesn't work. It turns off after a few seconds -- after you've checked to be sure it's on -- then when you check again you have no idea how long it's been cooking. I have followed instructions correctly so it's broken not operator error. Steam cleaning doesn't really clean at all. You just get a very wet oven. Oven knobs are so sensitive you can (and we have) accidentally turn the oven on just by brushing past the oven. Scary and very disappointing overall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new Cafe Oven

So easy to use. Heats up quick and easy to look at food in oven without opening doors. Love the ease of getting food out of oven. No more bending over. So far so good. Makes me want to cook more often...

superb oven, great results every time

We just remodeled our kitchen as part of a larger rehab and we got the Cafe series French Oven as part of the refit. Can't tell you how much I love this oven!! I was a chef many years ago and I love to cook.The oven gives me super accurate control and the ability to clearly see the food as it cooks, it allows me to dial in the results every time. Before I would rarely switch between baking and broiling because the broiler would destroy a meal within seconds. With this oven I can watch it working and get the exact level of browning I want. It's like my old ovens were axes and this is a scalpel. Have only scratched the surface with the smart phone control but it works and was easy to set up.

French doors = happiness

Love the French doors on this oven! Every oven should have these. I'm short (thus short arms) it was always a hassle to reach over the traditional pull down door to load/take out trays. With the French doors I don't have to worry about burning myself on a hot door while trying to lift a heavy turkey in and out of the oven. I have had this oven for a couple of months and so far everything is working great. The sliding racks work great and they are really easy to adjust to a different level. So far, so good!
