Unique Features, Superb Performance

In the process of a major kitchen renovation I found that this was the only built-in oven to offer a side-open double door feature, which sets it in a class by itself for convenience, particularly from the standpoint of an eye level oven. Overall, the operation and workmanship is flawless.

This oven was a replacement for an existing build-in. This unit has all the features one could hope for. It heats evenly and quickly. It is very quiet. The controls are straight forward and yet comprehensive. The mulit-level broiling is a great feature. The cafe doors are a major improvement over the single drop down door found on most ovens. The racks on ball bearing slides is a major enhancement over traditional oven racks. The tones used for timer and warning are very pleasant. Having the oven notify us at various stages through our smart phones is very handy as well.

Amazing oven!

I absolutely love this oven. We installed this at my height (5'1") because of my bad back. It is so easy to use and really saves my back. It cooks beautifully. It appears so small but with 3 racks and convection I can cook so much at one time. Makes cookies and muffins a quick job!

First thing I did was test the thermostat for accuracy in both standard and convection cooking. I was surprised to find they were both within 1 degree of each other and my testing equipment. Test baking with my favorite bread and cookie recipes were also successful. My only complaint so far - and its a minor one -is that it's easy to accidentally turn off the internal cooking timer.

Tried to talk myself into one of the less expensive ovens but the French doors, the 2 easy roll out racks and the overall appearance made all the others look inadequate. I have only used conventional baking so can't comment on the convection aspect. The cabinet maker built the cabinet incorrectly so it is lower than planned but I actually think it works better than at a more "traditional height".

High Quality Oven

When we remodeled our kitchen we went from a standard range to a wall in oven. Because of the oven's new location, we really didn't want a door that either hung down or swung to the side. The GE with the french door option was the winner. This oven has a very high quality look and feel. At first I was a little concerned due to it's low amp rating that it wouldn't be able to handle the job but it actually cooks faster than our old convection range. Plenty of features make the oven quite capable of cooking everything from roasting a turkey to baking a cake. The wifi option is kind of nice to allow you to start preheating before getting home. You just have to plan ahead to activate this feature since it is a special selection on the dial. The whole family is quite happy with this addition to the home.
