I have been using the Sony-W830 for six months now. It has performed as expected of a Sony product. I should have bought a camera with blue tooth compatability but there are always work arounds. Thinking out-of-the-box it could have been designed more ergonomically for one handed operation. Cameras do not necessarily have to look like a camera. All in all, I am very satisfied.
I am 70 so electronically challenged is a good description of me. I have had this for a month and i am surprised at how easy it was to learn how to take great pics. Thanks Sony.
I bought this camera 2 weeks ago and use it to take pictures of vintage photos. (Yes, photos of photos). I am genealogist and want to preserve the old pictures and leave them in storage while I can still enjoy the picture. The LCD screen is great and is high quality but the battery life is horrible. I wish the battery lasted longer. I read in the manual that the battery lasts about 100 minutes which means it takes about 210 pictures. I ordered an extra battery for backup. Although the battery is horrible, I would still recommend this camera.
