Ice Maker

Bought this yesterday as replacement for broken unit. It has been in place for 24 hours and the ice maker is still not making ice. Yes I checked the water valve and purged the water system as the manual says. The switch is on (down) also as the manual says.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hey Dangerous4695. I'd like to help with getting your icemaker to making ice. Please check and/or try the following: Is the water dispenser dispensing water? Is there ice jammed between the ice stripper and ejector fingers? Also check to see if the fill tube is frozen. I hope this information is helpful. It looks stupid . The freezer handle only stays attached if it's upside down. Looks stupid.

Decent fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when my fridge unexpectantly died. It has a strong ice machine but the water from the door does not come out cold. The inside is very much like my old one but the egg tray compartment on the door does not allow you to buy the common carton of eggs. It just doesnt fit which makes no sense. I ordered an extra shelf for the door because they just didnt give you enough. And after a few weeks, it makes a weird flapping noise from the back like an air conditioner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi mudd, thank you for sharing your review with us. As warmer tap water goes through the filter and enters the water tank the chilled water is pushed through to the dispenser. Once the chilled water is used up it will take several hours to bring the freshly replaced water to a cooler temperature. The egg tray that we offer holds a dozen eggs. At this time we do not offer an egg tray for purchase with more or less capacity. I also ordered an extra door bin as four was not enough for me either. Glad you were able to accommodate your family’s needs! Your Owner’s Manual on page 24 goes over the normal sights and sounds you will experience from the refrigerator.
