its a nice frig/freezer

this is the second one and I still have trouble . the first one had a bad door seal so I got a new one . after two weeks the second one now has a loose door handle , and some time this weekend i'll go into store and complain once again to get this problem taken care of . I understand that things happen , but this is becoming a large pain because I have to get ice for 4 coolers take everything out of frig/freezer wait until new one gets here , then wait until next day to put it all away . so how do you really think I feel . love the looks but that doesn't keep my food . thanks for reading this

Wish i had waited to Buy

Being a senior and on a limited budget when our old Sears Kenmore went out looked and knowing we had a size (width) and cost to consider we went with this one. Not what we really wanted. Even though I have spent money on this I would buy a better one in a moment if I had the money. 1) There is NO water holder that means the ice is the only thing that chills the water. In short if you want water you might as well get it from the tap. 2) The ice maker sounds like a locomotive. I have never heard so much noise in my life and my hearing isn't that good anymore. It cools ok so far. Wish I could say I am happy but like the old saying- You get what you pay for. This is my first and most likely last Frigidaire. And yes I am planning on getting a better one as soon as I can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BAD ICE MAKER

PURCHASED 2 DAYS AGO ICE MAKER NOT WORKING, WATER VALVE FOR ICE MAKER DOES NOT SHUT COMPLETELY AND FILL ICE BIN WITH WATER TILL IT DRIPS OUT THE FRONT AND DOWN FRONT OF FRIG.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it!

We have wanted a side by side for a long time but we were afraid there wouldn't be enough room in it. (We had to have a 33" instead of standard 36"). We bought it anyway and we love it. There is plenty of room in fridge and freezer. The ice maker and water are the best parts. The filter system is wonderful. It's the best tasting water we've ever had. Used to have a Britta pitcher but this tastes so much better and it's so convenient. My husband even drinks water now! I'm so glad we took the chance.

Love the layout

Bought about 3 months ago. The ice maker broke , but they were very quick about fixing it. Everything else has been great. Love the layout of drawers. Much more convenient

I bought 6 months ago and am very happy. Never had a side by side so getting use to the design. Only issue was one of my handles became loose at the bottom. I and the store could not figure out how to tighten. Frigidaire rep explained to lift straight up on the handle and it disengaged from door so you can tighten screw. It worked! Thanks!

Works ok, but noisy

This refrigerator makes many strange noises and seems louder than what I'm used to. I understand it is probably more energy efficient, but I'd probably rather pay the extra $33 a year and have a quiet fridge. I was happy that this fridge was cheaper than others and storage see,s to be good; although I would love a shelf that slides/extends in fridge.

Perfect fridge for me and my needs

Purchased about a month ago, limited by size of space for fridge and width of kitchen entryway. So far, so good. Replaced a 27-year-old unit that was getting tired and loud. Research before purchase had reviewers say it's noisy. It's a machine. Yes, it makes noises. If it didn't make noises, THAT would be a problem.
