Wow this drive is amazing. So small and light yet faster than any of my other drives. Its nicley designed, looks sexy if that is possible for a hard drive. The software encryption is nice to have. My only note would be the software encryption takes time to launch and is a little clunky, but these are minor notes overall.
Pros: Lightweight

I travel a lot for work and needed to purchase a replacement portable hard-drive that is is more durable against vibrations and drops.
After months of research, I narrowed it down to the Samsung T1 1TB due to the performance, portability, light weight and durability.
I can see drastic increase in performance when transferring large files across my systems in comparison to typical "high-end" 2.5inch usb hard-drives. I love that my Samsung T1 is so small, light and portable. Another feature I truly appreciate is the built in encryption and no bloat-ware!
Great job Samsung for continuing to design, develop and manufacture such great cutting edge technology!
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, portable

Windows 7 PC with USB ports does not recognize it. Cannot find any support on the site
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not work

750 evo 500GB

Performance is poor compared to 850 Pro 512G B & 850 EVO 500GB. I own 1 850 Pro and had my friend benchmark his 850 EVO 500GB against the 750 500GB. The 850 EVO is 33% Faster than the new 750 EVO.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, 33% slower
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tiny, but fast

Cutest little drive I ever layed my eyes on (and I'm a guy).
Very fast, Puts all my flash drives to shame, even on USB 2.0 It hits and holds 34MB/s when my fastest flash drive does 28MB/s.
On USB 3.0 it's a true champion, hitting even its rated speed a few times.
Case seems flexible enough to avoid breakage, yet Rigid enough to protect it's internals from a pretty descent impact.
Cable supplied is tiny, but so is the drive, who wants a 4 foot cable for a 2 1/4" by 1 1/2" by 3/16" drive????
Con's
Drivers supplied right on the drive, but it must be formatted before using correctly on windoze, so save the files on your PC and copy them back. THESE FILES ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FROM SAMSUNG. So if you want the software on other PC's you'd be out of luck if you don't.
It's so small I feel like I might loose it out of my pocket when I sit down, not really a con, but still.
Device got VERY warm when transferring 220GB of Video files over USB 3.0.
Other Thoughts
With it's flexible but rigid design it seems to be able to stand the test of time.
It's speed is un-equaled by anything I have tested before.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, small
Cons: available software for use on other pc's

small, fast and lightweight. Weighs almost nothing. I am using it with the Pixel C Tablet and it works great. As of now I don't know of any cons.
