Insanely fast/quiet SSD

Upgraded to this SSD from a Raptor 10,000 RPM drive. While I realize updating to "any" SSD would be a huge improvement - I was struck by the combination of value for the storage size that came with a name brand product. No issues so far - easy install and great performance. HIGHLY recommended. =)
Pros: Inexpensive, fast install

I had no idea this would speed up my Win10 PC so much.
Install instructions are too sketchy for must users and the software
is not well documented, but my experience was very good.

The unlock procedure is a pain. Don't know why its needed. Performs reasonably fast, but could be faster. Once unlocked, easy to use.

Excellent Portable SSD

Great portable SSD for the money. I am able to transfer all my music and video files from my phone to the drive and back. Basically gives me 250GB of storage for the phone. Lightening fast when used with a USB 3.0 connection but I am still getting great speeds with the slower USB 2.0.
It is so small and light that I forget it is in my pocket.

SSD's are Awesome!

This is my first SSD purchase so I was completely blown away with the speed compared to regular HD's. It was like going from a horse drawn wagon to a Camaro. After all Windows and other Software was loaded onto this drive it still starts up in under 5 seconds. My regular HD took 30-45 seconds to start up. And shutdown is almost instantaneous.
I'll never go back to using regular HD's now, except for maybe as paperweights. :)

Small high-capacity high-performance SSD

So far I have nothing but a good thing to say on this 1TB Samsung SSD. Excellent performance as demonstrated by its high transfer rate and stylish. It's very small too, so it's easy to carry around. As I am used to mechanical hard drive, I cannot believe how light this SSD is. The only drawback with the high-capacity one like this one at the moment is the price, which is at least 5 times more expensive than the regular hard drive, but I believe the price will go down soon as the market is supplied with more SSDs.
Pros: Lightweight, great performance
Cons: expensive
