Good Performance, Easy Installation

Installed about a month ago, so my use is limited at this point. Installation was not a problem except the front of the cook top was not flat to the counter top. It appeared to be due to the stamping process during manufacturing or possibly due to the shipping container supporting the ends and not the middle of the cook top. The back to the cook top was flat. The front corners were approximately 1/16 to 3/32 higher than the middle. This would have left an unsightly gap between the counter and the front corners. I was able to straighten the unit by placing a 1/2 block across the middle and applying pressure on the corners, bending them down enough to result in a straight, tight fit between the cook top and counter. Other than that, the quality of the unit appeared top notch. I am very satisfied with the performance of the unit.

Burners have different "speeds"

I like this cooktop very much. I noticed some reviewers complained that it "took forever" to boil water. Please note that some of the burners are more powerful than others on this model:
Burner - Left Front 9,100 BTU
Burner - Left Rear 9,100 BTU
Burner - Right Front 11,000 BTU
Burner - Right Rear 5,000 BTU Precise Simmer (don't use to boil water here!!!)
Burner - Center 17,000 BTU Power Boil
Burner - Left Rear 9,100 BTU
Burner - Right Front 11,000 BTU
Burner - Right Rear 5,000 BTU Precise Simmer (don't use to boil water here!!!)
Burner - Center 17,000 BTU Power Boil

My husband and I installed it - which was very easy and though we've only used it for a few days, we love it! He is the complete gourmet (cooking is his hobby) and I just want to get the cooking done and EAT (I'm a terrible cook) this appliance works well for both of us.

Love the raised surface, lighted controls, and locking feature. We finally have a large enough burner for our large pans. The controls regulate the flame quite well.

Love cooking with gas!
