As far as smart phones I used, and I've used many of them, android, iPhone, windows phone 6.5 and 7, and the Samsung focus has been the best performing, and easiest to use by far that I've owned.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, super fast performance, ease of use

great fetures easy to use

This is my first smartphone. The reception is great. Very easy to navigate. The pictures it takes are great, im a sports fan so its great because of all the sports apps avaliable. And the bluetooth is great for car. I have a ton of music on the phone and use it more then sirruis in car.

Although this is a first generation Windows Phone 7, it has been a terrific value. It has a beautiful display with Gorilla glass - I have been using it for six months with no screen protector and it remains perfect, no scratches. It performs well, especially with the 7.5 (Mango) update. Battery life is very acceptable: unless I'm traveling, it will last me with average use for the entire day. The camera is not bad, but not yet a replacement for my digital camera. I expect that to change with the newer phones.

Best windows phone at the time of launch

Feels cheap. Battery charging issues. The display is very crisp and the phone is super light.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
